The Panic! At The Disco Fansite.

Hacking; YouTube
January 25th, 2009 | filed in: Site

Thanks everyone who emailed me about the security warnings you were getting (once again) when attempting to visit the site. Turned out someone hacked into my ftp account and uploaded thousands of pornographic files to our server. They were well hidden so it took me a while to figure out why I could never get rid of this problem. I ended up having to delete everything from the server — except for the gallery — and upload it all again to make sure I got them all. We’re back on the clear now, let’s just hope this time is for good.

Also, our YouTube account was deleted some days ago. I was expecting it to happen but it’s still infuriating. I made a new account – our third since the site opened – and you can subscribe to it at youtube.com/patdonlinetv. Only videos from 2009 will be uploaded, the ones from last year you can download at our videos page.

Update: The subscription button wasn’t showing up because I had no videos uploaded, it’s there now.
