I took this picture at a Chinese restaurant. Strange fortune.

F is for…

Four Tops. Some of the first music I can remember hearing as a kid was 60’s motown stuff, but I especially remember this song, “Reach Out”. Read the full article »

Thanks everyone who emailed me about the security warnings you were getting (once again) when attempting to visit the site. Turned out someone hacked into my ftp account and uploaded thousands of pornographic files to our server. They were well hidden so it took me a while to figure out why I could never get rid of this problem. I ended up having to delete everything from the server — except for the gallery — and upload it all again to make sure I got them all. We’re back on the clear now, let’s just hope this time is for good.

Also, our YouTube account was deleted some days ago. I was expecting it to happen but it’s still infuriating. I made a new account – our third since the site opened – and you can subscribe to it at youtube.com/patdonlinetv. Only videos from 2009 will be uploaded, the ones from last year you can download at our videos page.

Update: The subscription button wasn’t showing up because I had no videos uploaded, it’s there now.

So I made a huge mistake last night… That mistake was this: Going to see Criss Angel’s (you know, the Mindfreak) show “Believe”. It wouldn’t have been such a mistake if I could have just laughed the whole time as I had planned to do, friends have said nothing but bad things about this show, but unfortunately it was so awful I ended up just feeling bad, for him. That is when I felt like he really flipped it on me. Because he still got our money, and sympathy. What I had planned on, was a night out where I could laugh at this man in person. Joke was on me I guess. I would go into detail but it’s just not worth reliving. Have any of you seen this? I cannot believe Cirque Du Soleil put their name on this thing. Read the full article »

J is for John Lennon. This is one of my favorite songs right now, simply amazing.

“Goddddddddd I mean how predictable blahhhh” I’ll save you the trouble on that comment. Who are your J’s?

“We’re playing those mind games together
Pushing the barriers, planting seeds
Playing the mind guerrilla
Chanting the mantra, peace on earth

K is for Kinks.

The Kinks- Top of the Pops

I’m glad someone wrote a song this good about the music business.

The Kinks-Waterloo Sunset

The first time I went to Waterloo Station in England and took a train I put this on. Had to at least once right?

2 for the price of one! This band has about a million good songs, so do some digging if you’re digging.
