I’ve been working on some of the site’s content, nothing big just fixing this and adding that, small changes. Under media, I have redone the music videos page with better quality files and the new videos since the last update plus all TV appearances from this year have been added to the videos page.
A lot of people have been emailing me about not being able to download videos from last year through our news archives. I had to move the files at the end of the year but since I still have them all uploaded on our server I will get them back up for those interested. I’ll probably create a new page for them under “media” but check the videos page too just in case I change my mind, should be up in a few days. Read the full article »

Rest your eyes on an exclusive sneak peek at Sundance series Live From Abbey Road‘s new episode documenting Panic at the Disco’s return to the famed London studio — the creation site of their new set Pretty. Odd., plus albums from the Beatles to Radiohead — to play tunes new and old, and discuss their sophomore record.
In anticipation of the episode’s premier tomorrow (July 3) at 10 P.M. EST, SPIN.com chatted up drummer Spencer Smith, who, along with the rest of the band, just wrapped a sound check in France as part of their summer European tour.
“[It was] kind of perfect timing, coming from recording the album and then going back a few months later to record the show. It worked out really well by chance,” Smith tells SPIN.com. Descending on the “huge, gym-sized” studio one, Panic at the Disco strutted through five or six tracks, including Pretty. Odd cuts “Nine in the Afternoon,” “That Green Gentleman,” and “Mad as Rabbits,” plus a cover of the Band tune “The Weight.” “We ended up finding out that the head engineer for the sound for the show… used to play drums with the Band for a couple of years in the ’70s,” Smith awes.
“We were so impressed by walking in and looking around, it’s the special thing about it, to be able to work on our songs there — there’s just so much history,” Smith states. “The most famous of all the bands that have recorded there.” Add Panic at the Disco to the lengthy list.

Panic At The Disco have returned to London’s legendary Abbey Road Studios to record a live performance set to air in the US tomorrow night (July 3).
The Las Vegas band used the studio made famous by The Beatles to lay down their most recent album ‘Pretty, Odd’ and went back to record a live performance and interview, which will air tomorrow on the Sundance Channel’s ‘Live From Abbey Road’.
“When we were there mixing our record in January, the producer of the show said he was a fan of our band and he’d love to have us on the show,” explained drummer and founding member Spencer Smith. Read the full article »
Panic At The Disco are hooking up with Snoop Dogg for a future project. Frontman Brendan Urie, 22, said: “We played with Snoop in Germany and performed Gin N Juice with him. He said he’d like to sort out some recording time together.”
The lads have also invited Sir Paul McCartney, 66, to play with them. Brendan added: “I’m not sure we could actually play in his presence. Just watching would be enough.” That Macca EMO bass odyssey sounds like a winner. •
