11.03.2007 – the ones who never yawn
the last post was 5.17.07… that’s definitely my bad… maybe my laptop fell into the river one day while I was drifting in my wood boat under the sun catching up on some reading… and yes, I should’ve gotten it replaced or went to the community library to write you from there. maybe that didn’t happen but I know for a fact that I haven’t had an update in over 5 months.a lot has happened since I last wrote… we spent some time in the Nevada Mountains, which was a really great experience for us. you might have seen some pictures. If not, find them, we look pretty funny. we were also in California doing some demos for the record, which was a good time for us because it was the first time we actually got to here what the songs we were writing sounded like.
now it is November, we are 6 tracks into recording our new album, and I couldn’t be more excited. I came home to Chicago for the weekend for my moms surprise party (happy birthday Mom Walker) and now I am getting on an airplane and going to finish this record with the boys. I do apologize for disappearing for so long, we have been putting all of our time and focus into writing for this album. we have not and will never forget about all of you who make this band what it is. be back soon.

Update: This entry has been replaced by the one posted above.

From Pete Wentz’s buzznet: we went as the gents from panic for halloween. kind of ended up looking like pilgrims, pirates and some dude with a goth boot on.
Friends or Enemies caught up with Brendon and Ryan at Gavin Maloof’s party for an interview. They talk about writing, recording the new album and sex tapes. Watch it at FOE.
Last night Fall Out Boy dressed up as Panic! At the Disco for their Halloween tour date. The show started with Travis McCoy – of Gym Class Heroes – giving the “bad news” Fall Out Boy wouldn’t be performing due to Pete Wentz’s recent injury. But the “good news” was that he called his boys from Las Vegas to fill in for them. Cue to Fall Out Boy appearing in full Panic! costumes — with top hats, make up and fingerless gloves — and performing I Write Sins Not Tragedies. Watch it here.
